Overview

The City will occasionally have open Bids or Requests for Proposals (RFP's) on a variety of different projects. From capital improvement projects, to parks maintenance or bids for information systems, the City will publish those open Bids and RFP's here.

Finance Department 

The City of Millbrae is requesting proposals from qualified, certified public accounting firms to audit its annual financial statements. Please review the Request For Proposal for Public Accounting Firm for more information. For a firm to be considered, the City must receive the proposals by email, hand delivery, or mail by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Public Works Department

The City of Millbrae Public Works Department has implemented an e-Procurement system called PlanetBids - a web-based vendor and bid management system to better streamline its procurement process from paper-based to electronic bidding and vendor registration.

Both formal and informal solicitations may be processed through PlanetBids. All responses are due at or before the time shown in each solicitation. Late responses are not accepted. It is the bidder's/proposer's responsibility to ensure that the most complete and current version of the solicitation, including addenda, have been downloaded.

Vendors/Contractors/Consultants are solely responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate profile information. Vendors/Contractors/Consultants may edit their profile at any time.

Register as a Vendor

To register as a vendor, please visit the PlanetBids Vendor Portal and click on New Vendor Registration. Only vendors registered will be eligible to bid and/or propose for project solicitations with the City. Simply click on the link above to begin the registration process.

View Bid and Proposal Opportunities

Once you have successfully completed the registration process, you may immediately select the Bid Opportunities on the PlanetBids Vendor Portal to view active, closed, and awarded solicitations.
