Traffic Calming Program

Traffic calming is a process to reduce vehicular speeds and manage cut-through traffic by means of policy programs and engineering solutions. The goals of a traffic calming program are to improve traffic safety on neighborhood streets for all modes of transportation, mitigate impact on residential neighborhoods and school zones, and enhance the quality of life for the residents.
