Difference between Regular and Alternate Membership Types
In 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution 21-28 to add one alternate member position to the City's advisory committees due to the high-quality candidates interested in serving the Millbrae community in these civil roles. Alternate members will attend and participate in all committee meetings, but only vote when formally seated for the meeting to replace a regular member who may be absent and/or when needed to have a quorum.
Maddy Act
In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, California Government Code Section §54972, the appointment list of the City of Millbrae’s Commission and Committee members is posted on an annual basis.
