The City of Millbrae City Hall and Recreation Center were both recently recertified as a Green Business.
Environmental Programs collaborated with the Green Business Program to recertify Millbrae City Hall and the Recreation Center as a Certified Green Business. Certification as a Green Business is part of the City’s Climate Action Plan. It is a great privilege to be recognized by The California Green Business Network.
The Green Business Program helps businesses operate in an environmentally responsible manner and recognizes them for their efforts. The City has encouraged other City Businesses to become certified. Some of the many benefits of this program include connections to state environmental resources, such as free water and energy assessments, financial savings on energy and waste costs, improving employee wellness, and the continued commitment to fight climate change.
