The City is excited to launch the 2025 Millbrae Green Business Initiative, offering local businesses the chance to showcase their commitment to sustainability and earn valuable recognition! The Green Business Network connects businesses with valuable resources, support, and incentives for going green. Benefits include financial incentives, free technical assistance, educational materials, and public recognition upon certification. Our goal is for Millbrae businesses to become certified by Earth Day (April 22nd, 2025). The first 10 businesses to achieve certification will receive a special “Millbrae Green Excellence” sticker and be featured on our website, social media, newsletter, and during the Earth Day City Council meeting. All businesses that simply create a Green Business profile will also be recognized. City staff will provide ongoing technical assistance throughout the certification process.
