Josephine Waugh, Soroptimist Park was dedicated to a former Millbrae resident for her major role in assuring that the Spur Property would be available to residents as a recreational area. Ms. Waugh was an active Soroptimist which is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls.

Jo-Waugh Park is located across the street of the second phase of the Spur Trail and offers a wonderful picnic area and trail.
