    5th Annual Lunar New Year Festival

    The Chinese Lunar New Year 4708, the Year of the Tiger, begins on February 14, 2010. The City of Millbrae will celebrate this special event with a two-day Lunar New Year Celebration Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, 2010. The festival will consist of a Street Faire, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am- 4:30 pm, located at Civic Center Plaza, with a variety of vendors and food celebrating the Chinese culture. In addition, there will be a Traditions and Tiger Fun Showcase by Mills High School located in the Library and culture performances on the Civic Center stage which everyone is welcome to attend. The event concludes with the Tiger Parade beginning at the Kohl’s parking lot and ending at Civic Center Plaza.
