While coyote sightings in San Mateo County are common, residents, especially those with children and pets, need to remember that they are wild animals, and will defend themselves if they feel threatened. To avoid confrontations with coyotes, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the City of Millbrae, reminds people to take precautions when around these wild animals.

Detectives with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Millbrae Police Bureau, announce the arrest of 33-year-old Exrill Wilson. Wilson, a habitual auto burglar, is believed to be a suspect involved in several auto burglaries that have occurred within the City of Millbrae.

The City of Millbrae is currently accepting applications from residents who wish to serve on one of Millbrae’s commissions and advisory committees. Commission and committee members meet once a month to review issues that impact the economic and social livelihood of our community, and make recommendations to the City Council.

The City of Millbrae’s General Fund revenues for the 2015-2016 fiscal year out-performed budget projections by over $2 million; however, the City remains cautiously optimistic about its financial savings due to ongoing long-term infrastructure needs as well as the rebuilding efforts for the Millbrae Community Center.
