Community Center Update at Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting
During the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on Tuesday, February 21, members of the commission will help residents and partner organizations understand the planned processes and upcoming decisions for rebuilding the Millbrae Community Center. Starting at 7:00 p.m., the meeting will provide an opportunity for discussion between Millbrae community members and the senior staff working directly on the project.
“Engagement and feedback are key in the rebuilding of our community center,” said Mayor Reuben Holober. “We want the community’s needs, desires, and aspirations for the new facility to guide our decision-making. The City wants to ensure that every concern and idea from the public is thoroughly addressed throughout the rebuilding process This is just one of many opportunities that residents will have to weigh in and provide valuable input.”
The Parks and Recreation Commission has worked closely with the Community Center Sub-Committee and plans to provide a status report on progress to date on the rebuild, as well as clarify any questions that the community might have. All members of the public are welcome to join in the conversation.
