Millbrae City Council Meeting Recap for February 11, 2020

Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the Millbrae City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming the month of February as Black History Month. Alexis Lewis from the Executive Board of the San Mateo NAACP and Lamonte Mack, the City of Millbrae’s Code Enforcement Officer, received the proclamation.

The City Council unanimously approved, with a vote of 5-0, items 6 and 7 on the consent calendar.

Item 5 - Resolution accepting the Sewer Modernization Program, Capuchino High School Vicinity Capacity Upgrade Project as complete and filing of notice of completion.

Item 6 - Resolution granting authority to City Manager to award a construction contract for the Millbrae Avenue Box Culvert and Storm Drain Improvements Project.

Under new business, the City Council received an informational report on consideration of the County of San Mateo’s Disposable Food Service Ware Ordinance (Item 7).
