Millbrae Skate Park Re-Opens on Friday
Get your boards and bikes ready because the Millbrae Skate Park re-opens on Friday, March 29th, just in time for Spring Break! After undergoing numerous renovations and security improvements, the Millbrae Skate Park will re-open with a clean site, new trash receptacles, new lights, and new security cameras.
Over the past few months, crews from the City’s Public Works Department have made significant improvements to the park and installed two security cameras at the site. While the fence around the park has been repaired, the gates to the park will not be locked at night. The park will open at 9 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Park hours will be strictly enforced.
We want to thank the community and skate park users for assisting the City in bettering the space and ensuring its care in the future. We also want to thank Millbrae Public Works for taking the time to upgrade the site and prepare for a great re-opening.
Any community members that are interested in the Millbrae Skate Park can join the City’s User Group Meetings. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 10th at 6 p.m. in the Millbrae Community Center Great Room.
