Hundreds will Celebrate Lunar New Year in Millbrae this Saturday
On Saturday, March 2, Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Assemblyman Kevin Mullin, and Millbrae Mayor Wayne Lee will join hundreds of people from throughout the Bay to celebrate the new year during the Millbrae Lunar New Year Festival.
“I want to wish everyone a happy Lunar New Year,” said Millbrae Mayor Wayne Lee. “Each new year, we celebrate to reflect on our past success and prosperity, no matter how big or small it is, and look towards the future with hope for greater success and accomplishment. I hope all will be able to join us for the Millbrae Lunar New Year Festival, and welcome in great success and prosperity in 2019.”
Starting at 10 a.m., the festival will include a variety of traditional Chinese arts and crafts, activities for children of all ages, stage performances, and Chinese cuisine. At 11:30 a.m., the Lucky Golden Boar Parade will proceed through the heart of Millbrae’s downtown and end at the Millbrae Civic Center Plaza (450 Poplar Ave.).
This is a FREE public event.

Millbrae Cultural Committee (MCC) invites everyone to join us in celebration of the beginning of a new year and explore a different culture.
