Westin SFO Hotel Celebrates 30-Year Anniversary
The Westin San Francisco Airport (SFO) Hotel celebrated its 30-year anniversary on October 18, 2017. Vice Mayor Gina Papan attended the event and presented a commendation to the Westin.
When the hotel opened in 1987, it was the first hotel to have double paned soundproof windows, a unique feature that no other hotel on the strip could offer. It was built so solidly and so well that the 1989 earthquake did not disrupt business nor add any major damage to it.
The Westin SFO Hotel is represented on the City of Millbrae Tourism Committee and their representative serves as a community volunteer, working diligently to bring travelers to their establishment and to the City itself. Moreover, the hotel received the Energy Star Award in 2004.
Congratulations to the Westin SFO Hotel on its 30-year anniversary!
