Angelina Cahalan was elected to the City Council in November 2022 and is the first Millbrae City Council Member to reside on the eastside of El Camino. She was born and raised in San Bruno and has been a resident of Millbrae for 20 years. She and her husband have two boys who attend Millbrae public schools.
Angelina has 22 years leading programs in nonprofits. She spent years at St. Anthony's Dining Room, assisting homeless people in San Francisco's Tenderloin District before pivoting to Meals on Wheels San Francisco, an organization dedicated to providing food and services to the City's homebound seniors.
Angelina is passionate about making sure residents’ voices are heard and that Millbrae continues to be a vibrant, safe, inclusive community for all. Her top priorities for Millbrae are community building, transparency, sustainable development, updating infrastructure, public safety, and economic vitality.
Angelina is also committed to service, she recently joined the Millbrae Lions Club and is a Leos Advisor, was Secretary of the Lomita Park PTA, volunteered with Capacitar International, and served on the Service-Learning Boards at the University of San Francisco and Notre Dame de Namur University.
When she is not working, Angelina enjoys attending her kids’ sporting events, cooking for friends and family, camping, and traveling.
