In June 2014, Captain Lisa Williams assumed the role of Chief of Police Services for the City of Millbrae. Captain Williams joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1984 and has served in a variety of assignments including Corrections, Investigations, and Patrol. Most recently Captain Williams led Coastside Patrol Bureau and transitioned law enforcement services for the City of Half Moon Bay. She has experience in addressing issues impacting our youth, including gangs and gang violence; engaging the community to identify priorities and common sense solutions; as well as, managing public safety for large community events.

The Millbrae Police Bureau is dedicated to providing professional law enforcement services that address quality of life issues for those who live, work or visit here. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service based on our values – Commitment, Integrity and Compassion. We work closely with our partners in local government, city departments, community groups, and the business community to develop knowledge and implement common sense solutions to problems.

Captain Williams is a graduate of Capuchino High School and spent teen years living with her family in the City of Millbrae. Captain Williams is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, in Quantico, Virginia and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University, in Belmont, California.  ______________________________________________________________________________________________
