Sewer Modernization Program - Public Workshop Announcement
This month, the City of Millbrae will host two public workshops to teach residents about its work to modernize the City’s aging sewer system and prevent future sewer overflows.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20th, City staff will walk attendees through the problems with Millbrae’s sanitary sewer system, and explain why sewer overflows occur and what is being done to stop them. Questions and comments will be solicited from the public following the City’s presentation.
For those who cannot make the first meeting, a second meeting, covering the same topics and information, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 23rd. Both meetings will be held in the City Council Chambers (621 Magnolia Ave.), and will be broadcast on Millbrae Community Television (MCTV).
